VIP - Cashmere/Merino - Maroon - 19034

VIP in Maroon is a deep brown shade with a red undertone, which gives the color a warm and slightly dark, elegant expression. It is reminiscent of mahogany and spicy earth tones and is perfect for classic sweaters and cardigans, where you want a color that feels calm - but still has plenty of depth. Maroon also works really well with both natural tones, beige and cream, but can also create a beautiful contrast with dusty pink or dark blue.

VIP from Lana Gatto is a luxury yarn with 20% cashmere and 80% merino. For this thread, only first cut cashmere and long extra fine merino fibers are used, which gives a regular, soft and shiny surface. Merino wool is also 100% cruelty free, and VIP is a good choice if you are a wool type – also for baby knitting.

Knit VIP alone for a light and clean expression, or add a follower thread, e.g. Silk Mohair or Baby Alpaca, for extra softness and a more airy look.
