Knitting kit - Hove Sweater by Mette Sandgaard Kühl (VIP + Silk Mohair)

The Hove Sweater is a classic sweater with details that make it elegant. The sweater is knitted from the top. First, the back piece is knitted with European shoulder construction in retrills. The retrills go again at the beginning of the front piece and at the beginning of the sleeves. The neck is slightly boat-shaped and is knitted in stockinette for an elegant look. Sleeves and body are finished with ribbing in 2 knit, 2 purl.

The sweater can be knitted in two different knitting strengths. The measurements are given for both firmnesses.

Green version: 1 thread VIP fv. 12942 + 1 thread Silk Mohair fv. A4184 (photo via. @atimetoknit). Modified with slits and a slightly longer rib.

Choice of size: The design can be knitted with a "regular" fit (room for movement of approx. 7-15 cm) or more oversize (room for movement of 15-35 cm). The brown version has a movement space of approx. 30 cm, while the blue version has a movement space of approx. 15 cm.

Guiding sticks: Circular needle 4 mm or 4.5 mm (60 and 80 cm) for the body and circular needle 3.5 mm or 4 mm (60 and 80 cm) for the ribs

Yarn: 1 thread VIP Cashmere/Merino (50 g / 200 m) together with a thread Silk Mohair (25 g / 212 m) from Lana Gatto
