Kimsa - Timber Wolf - 1170

Kimsa yarn is available in this beautiful dark gray color with a brownish tone, which we call Timber Wolf. A good basic color which can be combined with many other qualities. Kimsa is very suitable as a follow-up thread. It can e.g. substitute a strand of Silk Mohair. Kimsa gives a more matted and less glossy look. At the same time, it is soft in a completely different way due to the finest baby alpaca, which the quality primarily consists of. 

We get the yarn produced in a spinning mill in Peru, which has many years of experience and expertise in the production of alpaca yarn. They are in constant development in terms of innovative measures to ensure the most sustainable production. At the same time, animal welfare and social responsibility are paramount. The animals live in good surroundings and are shorn in a gentle way, and the spinning mill works closely with the shepherds to ensure good working conditions for them.

•    Kimsa + Samay = 14-15 stitches, row 5.5-7
•    Kimsa + Misina = 15-17 stitches, p. 4.5-5.5
