Augustin's no. 33
Size: a (b) c (d) e (f) g (h).
Your excess: 80 (90) 100 (110) 120 (130) 140 (150) cm.
Movement space: This dress's narrow bodice is close-fitting and therefore has no room for movement, while its body has free space. When you choose a size, take your own measured excess width as a starting point, and let this determine which size you knit.
Full length, measured from the edge of the support piece downwards: Approx. 71 (71) 72 (72) 73 (73) 74 (74) cm.
Needle: Circular needle 5 mm and 10 mm (the lengths 60, 80 and 100 cm are recommended).
Knit strength: It is knitted with 2 knitting weights.
- Folded edges, lace edges and i-cords: 15 m x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on circular needle 5 mm.
- Body and sleeves: 10 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needles 10 mm
Alternative from Smuksak: 1 thread Samay (130m/50g) and 2 threads Silk Mohair (212m/25g) or Kimsa (200m/25g)
Consumption: 650 (700) 750 (800) 850 (850) 900 (950) g Samay and 325 (350) 375 (400) 425 (450) 475 (500) g Silk Mohair or Kimsa
Other: 20 mm elastic bands for the shoulders and wrists of the dress (length: approx. 80-100 cm).
40 mm elastic band for the dress yoke (length: your/your upper body width -5 cm).
Workflow: The dress is knitted in the round from top to bottom in stockinette stitch with finishing lace edges. First, the body of the dress is knitted, after which allowances are made for the voluminous body. Next, knit the 2 sleeves, which are finished with a ruffled lace. Finally, 2 i-cord bands are knitted on the shoulder edge for a bow at the back, and elastic is inserted into the folded edges of the yoke and sleeves to ensure the right fit.
Remember the knitting test.
NOTE: The model in the pictures is knitted in a different yarn than Smuksak's yarn and therefore other materials will also appear in the file.

wash your home knitwear gently with it eucalan
To keep your home knitwear soft, beautiful and durable, hand washing with Eucalan - one is recommended gentle and mild wool soap without rinsing.
HOW TO DO IT:
1. Fill a tub/sink
Use lukewarm water (approx. 30 °C). Add approx. 5 ml (one teaspoon) Eucalan per 4 liters of water.
2. Soak the elastic
Place your knitting needle in the water so that it is completely covered. Let it soak for approx. 15 minutes.
3. Centrifuge or squeeze out the water
Take the knitting out of the water - Eucalan should not be rinsed out, as the wool benefits from the lanolin. Squeeze the water out carefully, without twisting. Spin your knitting at 800-1200 revolutions.
NOTE: You must be sure that your washing machine not takes in cold water during centrifugation. Alternatively, excess water can be gently squeezed out by rolling the elastic in a towel and squeezing gently.
5. Dry flat
Place the elastic in shape (according to the measurements from the recipe) and let it dry lying flat on a towel.
