Movement space: This skirt is designed to have a free range of movement. When choosing a size, take your own measured waist width as a starting point and let this determine which size you knit.
Full length: Approx 69 (69) 71 (71) 73 (73) 75 (75) cm.
Needle and knitting strength: Knit with 2 needle sizes, 6 + 8 mm (60 / 80 cm).
- Edges: 16 m x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on circular needle 6 mm.
- Skirt: 14 m x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on circular needle 8 mm.
Recommended yarn from Smuksak: 1 thread Reloved Merino (230m/50g) or Shetland Wool (280m/50g) along with 2 threads Silk Mohair (212m/25g). It is knitted in three threads in total.

Other: 60mm elastic band - the length must correspond to your waist circumference.
1 small flat button, approx. 1.5 cm in diameter.
Workflow: The skirt is knitted in the round from top to bottom in stockinette stitch. First, the wide waist piece is knitted, which consists of a bent edge, in which a wide elastic band is fitted at the end. The skirt is shaped using continuous rounds of take-outs. Finally, a wide bent bottom edge is knitted.

wash your home knitwear gently with it eucalan
To keep your home knitwear soft, beautiful and durable, hand washing with Eucalan - one is recommended gentle and mild wool soap without rinsing.
HOW TO DO IT:
1. Fill a tub/sink
Use lukewarm water (approx. 30 °C). Add approx. 5 ml (one teaspoon) Eucalan per 4 liters of water.
2. Soak the elastic
Place your knitting needle in the water so that it is completely covered. Let it soak for approx. 15 minutes.
3. Centrifuge or squeeze out the water
Take the knitting out of the water - Eucalan should not be rinsed out, as the wool benefits from the lanolin. Squeeze the water out carefully, without twisting. Spin your knitting at 800-1200 revolutions.
NOTE: You must be sure that your washing machine not takes in cold water during centrifugation. Alternatively, excess water can be gently squeezed out by rolling the elastic in a towel and squeezing gently.
5. Dry flat
Place the elastic in shape (according to the measurements from the recipe) and let it dry lying flat on a towel.
