Augustin's no. 22  is a large hair bow, which with its soft shape and fine structure carries a nostalgic touch.
The measurement of the bow tie, before binding: approx. 70 cm in length x 6 cm in height. 
Guide sticks: 2 pcs 4 mm circular needles (60 cm).
Knit strength: 20 m x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on circular needle 4 mm.
Recommended yarn from Smuksak: 1 thread VIP (200m/50g) or 1 thread Reloved Merino (230m/50g) along with 1 thread Silk Mohair (212m/25g)
Consumption: 1 key of each strand (knit in two strands in total).
Other: 1 narrow hair elastic.
Workflow: The bow ribbon is worked in stockinette stitch in the round, while on each round indentations are made to shape its ends. Finally, close off the top and bottom of the ribbon using the 3-pin closure method.
Remember the knitting test.
NOTE: The model in the pictures is knitted in a different yarn than Smuksak's yarn and therefore other materials will also appear in the file.

wash your home knitwear gently with it eucalan

To keep your home knitwear soft, beautiful and durable, hand washing with Eucalan - one is recommended gentle and mild wool soap without rinsing.

HOW TO DO IT:

1. Fill a tub/sink
Use lukewarm water (approx. 30 °C). Add approx. 5 ml (one teaspoon) Eucalan per 4 liters of water.

2. Soak the elastic
Place your knitting needle in the water so that it is completely covered. Let it soak for approx. 15 minutes.

3. Centrifuge or squeeze out the water
Take the knitting out of the water - Eucalan should not be rinsed out, as the wool benefits from the lanolin. Squeeze the water out carefully, without twisting. Spin your knitting at 800-1200 revolutions.
NOTE: You must be sure that your washing machine not takes in cold water during centrifugation. Alternatively, excess water can be gently squeezed out by rolling the elastic in a towel and squeezing gently.

5. Dry flat
Place the elastic in shape (according to the measurements from the recipe) and let it dry lying flat on a towel.
