VIP - Cashmere/Merino - Velvet Wine - 9364

VIP in Velvet Wine is a deep wine-red burgundy shade with a velvety and classic expression. The color has plenty of depth and elegance and is perfect for timeless sweaters, cardigans and accessories where you want a warm, dark color with character.

VIP is a cashmere/merino yarn from Lana Gatto, spun on first cut cashmere and long extra fine merino fibres. It gives a very even mesh image, a soft feel and a fine shine, which makes the color extra beautiful in both stockinette and structure. Merino wool is 100% cruelty free, and VIP can be a good choice if you are a wool type and want a gentler luxury yarn.

Use VIP alone for a clean, lightweight result – or add a trailing thread, e.g. Silk Mohair or Baby Alpaca, for extra softness and a fluffier look, especially in larger projects such as sweaters.
