Silk Mohair in Sunflower from Lana Gatto is a nice yellow shade with a slightly cool undertone. The mulberry silk adds a discreet sheen that gives the yarn an elegant play in the light, while the mohair contributes the airy, fluffy surface that characterizes silk mohair.
You can knit Silk Mohair alone in two or more strands if you want to build more volume and reach a certain knitting strength without the project becoming heavy. As a companion thread, Sunflower is obvious when you want extra softness and luxury as well as more dimension and life in your knitwear - and in some combinations it can also give a beautiful, slightly mottled look.
