Silk Mohair in Steel Gray by Lana Gatto is a deeper, cool shade of gray with a calm and timeless expression. It fits perfectly with classic basic projects and gives an elegant look in both stockinette and structures, where the fine "halo" of the mohair can highlight the surface. The silk gives a discreet shine, which makes the color come alive without becoming glossy.
This silk mohair is of course only in two or more threads, if you want to achieve more volume and hit a certain knitting strength. As a companion thread, it contributes especially with extra softness, a luxurious, fluffy expression and more dimension in your knitwear - and together with other shades, a beautiful, mottled play can arise.
